1. Where you from?
Somewhere in the Philippines. Not even my family knows where I live.

2. Why did you create this site?
I wanted to express myself in my most favorite media -writing, because writing has been an integral part of my life and this is where I can find to breathe air without soliciting the ire of the people close to me.

3. Is it hard to make a website?
For me, not really. Wordpress have made my life easier. I do not have to create multiple webpages because you just add a page in the Admin area. Plus I don’t really make my layouts, I will be in the future, but I don’t have the patience for now.

4. What blogging tool do you use?
I prefer wordpress, because it’s much easier.

5. How do you maintain your site? Why do you put up ads on your site?
Advertisement, along with my writing paid posts generate me income to pay for my domain names. My webhost is free, courtesy of Ems of NO Limits Host. If in case the demands of my website increases, I might need to purchase a larger hosting from Ems and continue looking for other resource for my income to pay and maintain my sites.

6. When did you start creating your websites?
I started making webpages by manually creating each page, uploads and updating them since October 2000.  It started out of curiosity and dissected my first html through a newsletter that I saved on my floppy disk. It became a hobby, until such time that I got drawn into blogging.

7. Can you teach me how to make my own website?
When I have the time, sure! I like helping out people as best as I can, but also please understand that I am only human and have limited powers (hehe).

8. What’s in a name?
I named my site Crayons n’ Pencils because I’m a mother of two and I always deal with crayons and pencils lying around the floor most of the time.

9. Hosted where?
The site is hosted at No Limits Host, it’s a free webspace where you can sign up for just a space if you have your own domain. If you want a nice .info domain name, you can get it from namecheap for only $2.98.

10. How often do you update?
Twice a week or as long as I will have the time. I have a fairly busy mommy life, and I want my schedule balanced.

10. I noticed your theme only has your name and not your blog’s are you too self-absorbed?
Actually, Spongebob is the only one who’s self-absorbed. For practical reasons, I specifically asked the theme makers to put my name on the layout so I can have a generic theme for every blogsite name that I’d create.  Imagine installing a theme named Crayons n Pencils to my Just Riza blog. Besides, I want to enjoy the money I paid for, so why not have a generic theme or name on the theme?
